I live in Gold Coast, but I grew up in Nagoya, Japan. In total, I have lived in Australia for 19 years since 2001.
I currently work at Japanese food import company as a sales front and with my extensive knowledge about Japanese foods and sake, I also work as a sake sommelier on the side. I get to work with various restaurants, vendors, and events along the coast on a daily basis recommending food products and sake combinations that will please the consumer’s palate the best.
Neut started out originally with the idea that I wanted the blog to be “neutral” so that it could be enjoyable towards both men and women. Neut was also born to shed light on the Japanese culture from a neutral standpoint as a woman who has learned to integrate both Japanese and Australian cultures into her life; neither taking more part than the other.
I want to continue sharing the Japanese culture and sakes with new businesses and vendors in future events.
